Really I only use the Logitech software to lower the sensitivity even though there are other adjustments available. But even on their own support forums they tell people to find/use the 5.10.127 version posted in link above so that is what I did.Īctually I am able to get the feeling of the engine through my Momo wheel by only using the in game force feedback sliders, even if I leave the settings alone in my Logitech Profiler.

However once you install this newer software you will find it does not even support the Momo wheel, silly Logitech. It is kind of annoying that even on Logitechs website they still show the Logitech Momo wheel, and tell you to install the newer Logitech Gaming Software to control it. Luckily I was used to this process of finding Logitechs older software as I was coming from an even OLDER Logitech wheel before this one haha.

It does not list Mac OSX as compatible but here is a link to a 64bit version if interested in finding out if you can make it work. The newest logitech gaming software unfortunately does not recognize our older Momo wheel but you can find an older version of the gaming software(Called Logitech Profiler once installed) that still works in newer Windows and allows fine tuning of the wheel. Like Axel said, Windows has Logitech gaming software to make certain adjustments to strength, sensitivity, deadzone, spring return, etc.
I have been a PC gamer since the beginning of PC games, and tune/race cars and motorcycles in real life, so I believe I have an idea of what a wheel is supposed to feel again this may all be different for Mac.but as far as Windows goes, the Logitech Momo seems to be Extremely sensitive if just plugged in to USB and then used in a game. I know most games are set up for newer wheels and don't always play nice with older wheels so there are always tricks I am looking for to make every adjustment possible. the Logitech Momo is a very old wheel with only 270 degrees of rotation(I believe) where the newer wheels have 900. I will confirm this when I get in game tonight but don't think I am crazy.Īlso remember ALL steering wheels are different and will require different set up. I put the sensitivity slider instead all the way RIGHT and now the steering is much slower and realistic, more in sync with the wheel I am using and able to make small adjustments of the truck that were not possible otherwise. I move the sensitivity slider all the way LEFT, and the truck can not be controlled.the slightest movement of the steering wheel sends the truck veering off the road(Too much steering). I am almost positive mine works the opposite. Which is the only setting that makes sense when using a steering wheel (you do want the steering in game to follow the input from the steering wheel immediately).
